Hi, I am a student in part-time employment at multiple jobs. I started working quite late in the tax year, so at the end of the last tax year one of my jobs was taxed under BR (the Basic Rate) @ 20%. This turned £250 into £200. Since my total income for the tax year was under my PA (i.e. including my other jobs), will I be refunded for the missing £50? If yes, do I need to complete any forms etc. or will I receive a P800 tax calculation letter from HMRC? If it is the latter, when can I expect this to arrive? Thanks.

Hi

If you have overpaid your tax then once your records are reviewed a calculation, P800, will be issued to you with the details.
It depends when we receive the PAYE details from your different sources as to when the review will be done.
If you check your online account Personal tax account: sign in or set up then once reviewed the overpayment will be shown online.

Thank you
