Hello, I'm struggling to change my address on my personal tax account. I've tried changing it online and when I almost get to the end, it always says I cannot change it online due to a overlapping of dates, so, I need to call HMRC. I call HMRC, I keep getting hung up on my the automated system and cannot get through to a real person. I'm at my wits end with the whole thing. Any advice on where I can go from here?

To update your address, you can contact us by webchat via Income Tax: general enquiries
- just click 'Ask HMRC Online', near the top of the page.

Hello, I've already tried that and it kept saying to go online to change my address which I am unable to do. Any other suggestions?

If unable to change your address online then you will need to contact HMRC by phone, webchat or in writing.
Details of how to contact HMRC can be found at Income Tax: general enquiries for webchat if you click on Ask HMRC online to be connected to an adviser.

How can I change my address on my P60 it's got the wrong address on

Hi Angela,
If your address is incorrect on your P60, that means your employer holds the wrong address.
P60's are issued by the employer, not by HMRC.
You will need to update your address with your employer and ask if they will re-issue the P60.

I need assistance as I am unable to confirm my identity on the HMRC app. This issue has arisen because my address has recently changed, and it appears that your records may not yet reflect my new address.
