Tax Nominee and benefit support

Hi, My father lived in the Netherlands and is due a tax refund. However holland will no longer cash cheques and the form has an option to name some a nominee to receive the money. I wanted to know, as my husband and I receive disability benefits and tax credits, if the money was to be cashed into my bank account (I would be sending all the money back to my father) would it affect my benefits in anyway or if it got questioned at any point would I be able to prove I was a nominee?
