I left my old job in June 2023 and I’ve just logged into the hmrc app and it shows my employment from April 2022-April 2023 but nothing from April 2023-July 25th which is when I started my new job. I’ve paid tax on my previous employment so really confused as to why this isn’t showing up. What should I do about this? I currently have no income tax being taken from my payslip. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Piyush kumar,
If HMRC have received employment pay and tax details this would show on your personal tax account Personal tax account: sign in or set up.
If no details are shown will need to contact HMRC to review Income Tax: general enquiries
Thank you.

Hello, I worked in the same place for four years (July 2019 until June 2023), on a zero-hours contract, but when I got promoted to team leader (at the end of 2022) I got a full-time contract. After I left the company, I noticed that they made a mistake in paying my service charge, I got in touch and they fixed it. The only information about this employer in the HMRC portal is the period where they fixed their mistake (August 2023) and nothing else, like I never worked for them before. I got in touch with the company's HR by email but I had no answer, I also sent a message to HMRC months ago about it and I had no answer. What should I do? (I have all the payslips as a proof)

On this page you will also see a link to Personal tax account which may be the quickest way to review information relating to pay and tax history, tax codes and how to change them.
