I have been resident in Switzerland for 22 years will be retiring shortly. I will stay in Switzerland for another year or so but will ultimately return to the UK for family reasons. Question: if I take a lump sum pension in Switzerland, which is taxed in Switzerland, will there be any UK tax liability on the remaining sum when I eventually return to the UK ? Thanks for any info to bring clarity on this.
