Hello, I hope to be in the correct forum for this question, otherwise please kindly direct me to the most suitable area. When I access my personal profile (tax.service.gov.uk/personal-account), I see the message "you need to update your main address to receive post from HMRC", and I am asked to confirm my current address. After entering the updated residential address, the question "when did you start living here?" appears. Now, before going forward, my question is: what is meant by "here"? Does it refer to the location of the updated address, or does "here" refer to when I started living in the United Kingdom? Thank you, kind regards.

Hi Luke,
It would be the date you moved to the new address.
Thank you.
