I was wondering if the Initial payment of the State Pension to an overseas applicant would take longer. It is well documented that in UK you can expect the initial payment "within 5 weeks". I am in Thailand and have been waiting 7 weeks. Thanks.

I would love to, but I have rung the number over 20 times now, and have been timed out after 3 mins every time, I think that is enough to be fair. Cost me over £100 At some point you have to stop. I am contacting legal services that I have available. This is wrong. If you are not going to pay my State pension, you have to explain why,

I sent my completed forms off in March from Australia and I know they have been received as I got documents back. Called in June as pension was due to commence in May asking when I should receive my 1st payment its now mid august 3 months after my pension should have commenced and I am still waiting. Surely it should have been sorted by now.
