Hi, I am planning to move to Spain in September with no plans on returning. My employer is happy for me to work remotely. My question is if I fill out the P85 form, will I then be exempt from UK tax and would my employer pay me gross? Leaving me to declare my income to the Spanish authorities, as I will be a tax resident in Spain? I assumed this would be the case, however I feel like I may have over simplified the process. Any help is massively appreciated. Thank you

Hi David McBride,
You are correct, you will declare your income to the Spanish authorities, as you will be a tax resident in Spain.
Thank you.
