Hello, I am a 66 year old British man living in Thailand both HMRC and Pension Dept know that I have registered as Non Resident. I turned 66 on 25 Nov 2023. I sent the application form from Thailand to the Overseas depts in August 2023. That included the 22 page form and original certificates. I was pleased to get an SMS message to say it had all been received and they would contact me if they needed anything else. The certificates came back here very quickly. All good so far. My military pension is paid direct into my Thailand bank Account has been no problems at all for the past 5 years. Obviously now we are 15th Jan 2024 and I have no received any state pension at all. I got another SMS message to ask to ring the number at the overseas dept, I rang it but it cuts me off after 3 mins. I spent about £50 trying to get through the same happened each time. So I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. Is there a problem? If so what is it? But not sure what to do next to find out what is happening. Thanks for any help. Best Regards.

I wrote to you back in June about my change of address from that in Singapore to the Philippines including my new contact details. To date I have had no reply. I have tried calling multiple times but get no response and then I’m timed out. This is incurring unacceptable costs. As a former Regional Sales Director in Asia I find this level of Customer Service completely unacceptable. Can somebody please email or contact me as I’m having no success at all?

Hi, I would like to contribute to pension scheme in Malaysia called EPF (Employees Provident Fund) which is a government-backed pension scheme. It is under the federal statutory body under the purview of the Ministry of Finance of Malaysia. Will my contribution be entitled to pension tax relief in the UK?

Thanks for your help in advance. Its now 1st november 2024. I am due my pension from July 2025 when i turn 66. I am looking to move to Thailand in January, I will still be paying my contributions until July. I intend to receive my pension into my UK bank account. Here is my question. When the time come for me to claim my pension, I apparently will receive a code through the post. Which means i long in and start my pension claim. If i don't have a UK postal address. How can i receive this code? Also when i login to my pension gov account, it usually send a code to a mobile phone number. How do i do that? Thank you very much.

Thank you Admin. For the advise. But wouldn’t had been simpler to answer the question, as i am sure you know i will have to wait 45 minuets on hold to ask the question. But thanks again for taking the time to help
