Hi, I've received my EIS Scheme Certificate relating to an investment I made in 2022. I would like to submit a Income Tax Relief claim for £10,400 which is over two tax years 2021/22 and 2022/23. I am a PAYE employee so don't normally do self assessment tax returns. I've filled out the EIS3 form however I've just seen another post on this forum which states that £10,000 is the threshold for the EIS3 form. Please could you advise what I need to do to claim tax relief on the investment - which forms I should fill out and where I need to send these. Many thanks, S.

Hi,
£10,000 is the limit to which you then need to complete a tax return and this would mean an investment of £30,000. if your total investment is £10400 then you can just send the EIS 3 certificate - pages 3 and 4.
Thank you.
