Hi there, I have moved abroad to Spain. Previously I was self-assessed as a sole-trader/freelancer and completed a self-assessment. I am now a resident in Spain, and liable for tax there, and need to communicate that I have left. I continue be paid in pounds to a UK account by a UK company, but on a freelance basis. Am I correct in thinking that I need to fill out: -P85 -SA100/103 -SA109 Many thanks.

Hi,
As no longer UK resident, the income should be declared in Spain as you are carrying out the work from there.
You can contact HMRC Self Assessment: general enquiries to have your self assessment record closed.
Thank you.
