Hi, I have received a letter from HM Revenue & Customs stating that they did not receive my Self Assessment tax payment. How is it possible? I paid my first instalment on the 21st of January, and received a confirmation email by GOV.UK I tried to call HM but it was impossible to speak to someone. What Am I supposed to do? Thanks

Hi Vero13 De Felice,
If the payment has left your bank  account but not received by HMRC then you will need to contact HMRC to trace and allocate the payment.
