Money from family for household and personal expenses

Hi, My husband has no job and does not have any other income during the tax year. Therefore, I give him about GBP 1,300 every month for household and his personal expenses. 1. Does he need to report this money to HMRC? If so, what should he do? 2. Is the money taxable? Thank you.
