Do I need to do a tax return? I have company pension scheme through my employer (NHS) where pension contributions are deducted at source (net pay arrangement) When I combine my NHS salary - before my pension payment are deducted, with an occupational pension that I am already receiving the benefits from it takes my total income to £53,150 gross. When the NHS pension payments are deducted it drops dwon to below £50,000. Do i need to do anything or complete a tax return?

Hi

Unless you have any other Self Assessment criteria - Check if you need to send a Self Assessment tax return- you do not need to file a tax return.

Thanks
