Hi, my boss (he is the sole director of a company) wants his company to pay a private pension company for £75,000 per annum. He receives dividends and he's on PAYE. He's not going to contribute any money to this pension scheme. Will this be a benefit in kind? Will he have to declare this on P11D?

Hi,
Employers contribution to a UK registered pension scheme - is not a benefit in kind and will not go on the P11D.
It needs to be report to the pension scheme as a employers contribution, not a personal contribution.
You need to contact the pension scheme for how they want you to report it to them.
Thank you.
