Hi, My wife has accepted a temporary medical fellowship for 18 months in Australia and I will be going with her as a partner on a 407 Training Visa. I am a director of a limited company in the UK and plan to continue operating the business whilst in Australia, working with UK based clients. I've received conflicting advise if someone could help? - Do I continue to do my HMRC self-assessment tax returns and statutory accounts? - Do I need to notify HMRC that I will be moving to Australia temporarily, even if I plan to continue working with UK based clients and essentially a "digital nomad"? - Do I need to do a tax return in Australia? In addition, we will be renting out our property in the UK whilst we are abroad. So do I need to do a UK tax return for this? Many thanks

Hi,
Please refer to guidance at Tax on your UK income if you live abroad.
Thank you.
