Guernsey Resident working in UK

I am temporarily in the UK and eligible to work here. I have been offered some work on a self employed basis but where do I pay tax? Guernsey tax office says it's UK and UK say it's Guernsey. Any advice or previous experience of this greatly appreciated.

You will need to review the guidance and undertake the 'statutory Residence test' at RDR3 to determine your tax residency status.  
This will help you determine whether the UK or Guernsy have the taxing rights of your self employment income
