I am writing my Will I want to leave a legacy of, say, £10,00 absolute to my grandchild. Is this legacy a normal GIFT from my Estate subject to the 7-year taper relief? If yes then what is the start date? Date of the Will, date I decease, date the legacy is actually given / paid to my grandchild? Thank you for your answer. Jerry
