I have a foreign based company pension that I am allowed to withdraw 25% Will this be taxed if I am not a UK resident? I am returning to UK after start of 2024 tax year, and want to withdraw in advance of that. Will I be liable to tax once I am resident in UK?

Hi

If you are not resident in the UK in the tax year that you withdraw your pension, it will not be taxable in the UK.  If you are resident in the UK, then it will depend on the tax treaty, if there is one, with the UK and the other country.
The tax treaties can be found at Tax treaties.

Thank you
