Hi HMRC, I am a British Citizen who has been resident in Germany for the past 7 years. I am self-employed here under a Sole Proprietorship, and would like to set up a UK limited company with two fellow British cofounders as a separate business entity. My question is: as a non-resident UK Director, do I get taxed on my dividends both in the UK and Germany? Or can I apply for full tax relief in the UK so that I only pay taxes on the dividends where I am resident (Germany)? I would like to avoid double taxation, as I am already paying taxes in Germany. Many thanks, Hana
