VW Transporter

Hello. I'm about to be given a VW Transporter Kombi as a work vehicle. It is a T32 with a payload of 1176kgs. It has 2 seats in the front and 3 in the rear for crew. The cargo area is larger than the rear seating area. Is this a commercial vehicle (advertised as such by seller) for the purposes of BIK? I'm worried I'm going to be out of pocket. Thanks.

The vehicle would be classed as a double cab pick-up if it meets the following:

has a a front passenger cab with a second row of seats and can seat at least 3 passengers plus the driver. four independently opening doors and an uncovered pick-up area behind the passenger cab.

We treat the double cab pick-up with a payload (gross vehicle weight or design weight less the unoccupied weight) of 1000kg or more - van or less than 1000kg - car.

We take 45kg off the payload where the pick-up has a hard top.

Thank you but it is already a van, with 5 seats and a payload of 1176kgs. It is not a pickup. Is it a commercial vehicle or not?
