Hi, I have written FOUR times to HMRC at various times since January this year in regards to claiming the 20% higher tax rare relief for my personal pension contributions and have yet to receive a single reply. A colleague at work sent the same template letter in January and received a reply in three weeks. But for me - nothing, not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement. I therefore made an official compaint, but apart from the initial acknowledgement to that, I have received nothing! It feels like I am being completely ignored which is extremely frustrating. I know there is a backlog, but isn't 9 months a bit too long to have to wait?? Steve

Hi Steve O'Shea,

You would need to contact HMRC to reivew the claim submitted if nothing heard. Contact HMRC.
For a complaint we aim to reply within 15 working days.
We will contact you either by letter or telephone once we have reviewed it.

Thank you.
