Working on an incorrect tax code

Hi, I am an international student working two part-time jobs. Both of them are my first jobs since I arrived in the UK. Also, I am earning less than 1,000 pounds a month. But I got a BR tax code. I tried to open a personal tax account to check but there was an error in checking my identity. My friend got a 1250L tax code and could I also request that my employer change mine?
