Hello, in my last payslip the tax code was wrong, giving me a temporary code. Checking in my online account, I see that I was assigned a code . Will it automatically be changed to the correct one in the next payslip? Thanks

Hi Cal,
Tax codes, when issued electronically to the employer are typically received within 72 hours.
If the code is not received in time for payroll cut off, then the employer may not get to action the new code.
May be worth checking if the employer has received the new tax code (after the 72 hours have passed).
If not, contact HMRC to re-issue the tax code.

Hello, I asked my employer if he received my new code, but he said that they cannot change the code and that I have to contact HRMC.
