Application to pay Class 2 from abroad - how long do I wait before action

Hi. In March 2023 I submitted a completed CF83. It was signed for so received at the address I sent it to. I have not received any confirmation that it has been received from that office. I have no idea if it is being actioned. I know there is a backlog but it has been 6 months of silence. I am unsure of whom to contact about where my application is - any suggestions please? Thanks

Sorry that you’ve not yet had a reply to your CF83 application form.  
If you’re in an EU country the Team that process these applications are dealing with queries received in February 2023.  
If you’re in a country outside of the EU then they are dealing with queries received in October 2022.
If you’d like to call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 they will be able to give you a more accurate date when you might expect a reply.
