Paying more income tax in November but earnings and tax code unchanged?

On my November payslip "tax paid" has increased by around 1.7% of my monthly salary despite my earnings, tax code and all other details on my payslip remaining the same. Are there any threshold or allowances changes that are effective from November that might have caused this?

In normal circumstances if your tax code and pay have remained the same since April 24, then I would have thought the Nov pay would be the same as the month prior.
