I have a pension income of £12,500 and savings interest of £6,000. From HMRC's Allowances data, I would have the following Tax Free Allowances: Income, £12,570; Individual Savings, £1,000; Starter for Savers, £5,000. Therefore, with these allowances totalling £18,570 is it correct to infer that there would be no Tax due?
