I am resident in Dubai and have inherited the pension benefits from my father who passed away aged 76. I understand that as he was over 75, the benefit would normally be taxed prior to payment. Can this be paid to me without the deduction of tax as I am non resident?

Hi Angela,
Please have a look at the table at Tax on a private pension you inherit, as it will determine the taxation of the pension pot. As it is the pension that is being taxed, not the beneficiary, the fact you are not resident in the UK does not change the outcome.
Thank you.
