Husband and Wife - Cash ISA yearly allowance

Can Husband and Wife each put £20k yearly into seperate Cash/StocksShares ISA accounts. Or is it £20k jointly ??ie £10k each

You can each put a maximum of £20000 into an ISA in one tax year.
