Hi, I worked as a full time permanent employee in NHS Trust and was on highest tax rate on that employment. I am still on bank shifts with that trust but haven't taken any shifts yet. I recently got an email from HMRC saying that my tax code has changed due to second employment (old code showing as 'OT' and new code showing as 'D1', so will need to pay 45% tax on all earnings from that employment'). My new employment is PAYE as well and I will be definitely on highest tax rate from new employment as well. I wanted to ask what tax percentage I will be paying from new employment? Also, does that include NI contribution or is it separate? Thank you!!
