Dear HMRC, I received cash monthly in my overseas bank account from my family overseas to support my living expense in the UK. I transfer this money from overseas bank to a bank in the UK. Do I have to pay UK tax for these cash I received and transferred to the UK? Thanks.

Hi,
There are no Income Tax implications on the giving or receipt of a cash gift unless the cash gift generates interest or dividends.
These would then potentially be subject to tax.
Further guidance can be found here:
Tax on savings interest
Tax on dividends
Thank you
