I live in England and have a job that involves offshore work outside the UK (around 4 months per year). Should I pay tax in the UK during this period of time? If I receive my salary (those 4 months' offshore work) in my bank account in Hong Kong, will I owe tax if I remit that money to the UK? Conversely, if I receive my salary (those 4 months' offshore work) in my UK bank account while working offshore, will I be liable for UK tax? Thank you.

Hi A Tse,
If UK resident and domiciled you are liable on your worldwide income whether remitted or not.
Thank you.
