Tax refund payments

My app/online states my refund has been processed and they paid my refund today, upon checking my online banking no payment has been received? Is there a period of waiting time for it to clear into the account? Or should it be with immediate effect? Many thanks.

Once it shows as issued, please allow up to 10 working days for it to be received.

As of this morning my tax refund is showing as paid on my HMRC online account. The payment is not showing on my bank balance nor is it showing as pending. Once the refund shows as paid on my HMRC online account, should the money appear in my bank account on the same day or is there normally a delay before the payment reaches my bank
