Hi, I have been in UK since 1988. I am a home maker, I never worked in this country and didn't apply for NI No until recently. I got it only in September2023. Since i was not eligible for State pension, my husband contributed to Stakeholder pension on my behalf and it matured in 2022 and i have stated getting pension since 2022.Although the amount of my pension is less than my eligible personal allowance, HMRC is still deducting tax under the assumption that i am also drawing Stale pension (10,000 pounds and add). I never received any state pension. Kindly let me know how to resolve this issue and stop HMRC from deducting tax on my Stakeholder pension
