Payroll BIK and tax codes

I use salary sacrifice for financing my car lease. The BIK tax is payrolled (we no longer get P11D). However, my tax code has been adjusted to include the BIK tax. Is this not taxing me twice for the same thing?

You're correct - please inform your employer that your payrolled benefits are still present in your tax code, as they may not have updated their own payroll systems correctly.

Thank you. I contacted both my company and HMRC and the tax code has now been corrected to exclude the car. Thank you for the reply
