Following an inheritance in France I am required to provide a certificate showing my country of tax residence is in the UK at this date. Is it something HRMC can provide?

Thank you. As I am going through the form, it requests which article of the treaty it uses. As it's following someone death I am struggling to understand which treaty I should refer to as France has the DTA (2009) but doesn't cover anything following the death of someone and there's a specific inheritance treaty (1963) but what I am after is the equivalent of being in a trust so doesn't follow inheritance rules? There's no space to add any comment to the form. Can I contact someone to help me?

i. Thank you. I have just sent the request an hour ago, and I referred to article 23 and not article 4. Can I amend it?

Hi,
It is ok, HMRC will know the correct article to apply when sending your reply.
Thank you.
