I'm a musician, filing as employed (overseas) in order to claim seafarer's earnings deduction, and as self employed in the UK. Should I file expenses relating to work injury rehab, equipment purchase loans etc under my self employment, even if this shows up as a loss?

Hi,
If it relates to your self employment , yes.
You can only claim seafarers deduction if you were employed on a ship and meet the conditions required -
Seafarers Earnings Deduction: tax relief if you work on a ship
Thank you.
