Self assessment- already have UTR number

Hello, I hope you are well. I have registered for the self assessment and filed the tax return for tax year 6 Apr 2021- 5 Apr 2022. I have got the UTR number already. If I have bank interest for tax year from 6 Apr 2022- 5 Apr 2023 and would like to filed the tax return for 6 Apr 2022- 5 Apr 2023, do I have to register the self assessment again for this year before the deadline of 5 October 2023? I am not sure if I have to register for self assessment every year, or just finished the paper return before 31 October 2023 or online return before 31 January 2024. Could you please advise?
