Trust self assessment query

I am a trustee of a trust and my wife the other trustee and beneficiary. We registered the trust last Oct/Nov and the letter mentioned a self assessment? There have been no movements in or out of the trust in the last year (or many more). What do I need to do = confused?

You will need to contact the trust office on 0300 123 1072 or refer to Trusts and taxes.
