Gift aid query - which number?

Hello - for the gift aid section do I put in the amount of donations I have made or just the gift aid element? For example I have donated £1000 in the tax year under gift aid so an additional £250 has been donated via gift aid. Which number do I include on the tax return.

You would enter the amount you yourself have actually donated - the gift aid amount donated on top of that is then calculated for you.
