Hi All. Myself and my Hubby jointly own a flat we rent out. My tax bill for the 22/23 period is almost identical to the prev year. so no surprises there. Hubby, who is a 40% tax payer is being billed for 3 times as much... we have looked at all of the figures for income and expenses etc.He had a lot of expenses to offset for mileage in the prev year and not so much for 22/23.However even taking that into account surely his bill should be nearer twice as much as mine as a 20% tax payer... I have checked the figures and cannot see why this is so high for Mr W...any ideas before we submit the forms? Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Hi Bev,
Without accessing the record to see what has changed we cannot give a definitve answer.
You will need to submit the returns and then contact us direct to discuss if still unsure.
Thank you.
