When are student loan repayments made by self-assessment deducted from student loans balance?

Hi, Apologies for the wordy title... I have almost repaid my plan 1 student loan balance and am thinking about settling the remaining amount. I currently pay £104 a month from PAYE but also pay towards my student loan via self assessment. I can see the monthly PAYE deductions coming off my student loan balance but am unsure when my self assessment deductions are taken off? Is it come the new financial year? I'm worried I'm going to settle a too high a figure as my self assessment payments aren't included in the current student loans balance. Many thanks
