Hi , I am completing a tax return on behalf of my dad and I have seen the notes on how to calculate. Accountant has done this in the past last year 14084 entered - first time doing it alone. Where do I find what pension he received in 2022/2023. Is it as simple as just taking the received monthly payment and using that figure or is there any where I can find the correct information- should dad have received something? Thanks in advance

Hi nicky12345678910,
If this is the state pension then your father can check his tax code for the deduction made or checking payments received or it will be shown on his online personal tax account Personal tax account: sign in or set up.
The state pension will be 13 x 4 weekly payment.
He can also contact the department of works and pension for the details 0800 731 7898 Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
Thank you.
