Help please. I have just discovered that I had a deduction of £353 to my tax free allowance for medical insurance through my employer. I was not even aware of any medical insurance. I am also no longer employed by this company however the deduction was still being made. Does this mean I have been paying more tax than I should have? I have queried this and completed the steps to remove this from my tax code. Will I receive a tax refund if I have been paying more tax than I should have due to this? Thanks in advance

Hi

If the nedical benefit not received this can be removed from your tax code and if overpaid a refund would be due.
To review this you can contact HMRC Income Tax: general enquiries
