Government Gateway change phone number

Dear Sirs, I would like to change phone number? Is it just login government gateway and then change it in personal detail? And also is it changed the national insurance record, government gateway record and self assessment record? And I use tax paper form for tax return, will it replace my phone number record when HMRC key in form detail? Thanks

Changing your contact number on your Personal Tax Account will not update any other government record with that number. To do so, contact us by webchat, phone or post :  Income Tax: general enquiries  . Thank you .

Hi I use tax paper form for tax return, will it replace my phone number record when HMRC key in form detail? ie I change it in HMRC website on 7 Sep 2024. And HMRC key in my paper form detail on 15 Sep 2024. Or I should go into system amend it after HMRC key in? Thanks

Providing a phone number on your paper return will update the phone number on your PAYE and Self Assessment, but not the number used for accessing your Personal Tax Account. To update this number, go to:
