Hi there, For the year 2021-2022, I had less than £5,000 salary income which has already reported via PAYE. Recently when I checked my old bank statement, I found a foreign stock dividend which is around £200 and I didn't report it via Self Assessment. As my total income is less than the personal allowance, am I still required to submit a self assessment? if yes, via paper form or online portal? any penalty (even there is no tax due)? Looking forward for your reply. Thank you.

Hi BBM,

No need to report it on a tax return as it is under £300 and will be covered by the dividends allowance.

Thank you.
