Hello. I am in the process of completing my tax return for 2023/24, as I am just over the threshold for the Child Benefit High Income tax charge. I'm slightly confused by the charitable giving section and was wondering if somebody could advise. Each month I make 3 payments of £10 each to different charities. This is equal to £30 per month and £360 for the tax year. I've checked with the charities and all of them are claiming gift aid on the monthly payments. I don't have any charity certifcate(s). Do I enter the £360 on my tax return under gift aid payments?

Hi,
That is correct, you enter £360.00 under 'gift aid payments made in the year to 5 April 2024'.
Thank you.
