Hello, I’m seeking advice on how to declare my foreign income correctly on my UK tax return. I receive a salary from abroad, where income tax is already withheld at source. I moved to the UK on 28 April 2023 and want to ensure I report my income correctly in the UK. My first salary payment in the 2023/2024 tax year was on 10 April 2023, and my first payment after moving to the UK was on 10 May 2023. I am unsure which sections to select in the Self Assessment form: • “I’m getting taxable foreign income of £300 or more” • “I’ve untaxed income which cannot be coded in PAYE” • Or should I select both? Additionally, what dates should I enter for these sections given the timeline of my move and income? Thank you in advance for your help!
