Self assessment employed September 2023

Hi, I moved to work in UK on September 2023, and earning income greater than 100k annually. Do I still need to file my self assessment this January which I believe is for April 2022-April 2023? I did had a summer internship between that time but the salary was only 50k GBP annually. This is my first time doing self assessment and I've just started. Given it's close to the deadline already, feeling a bit stressed. Looking forward for a reply, Tianze zhang

As you arrived in the 23/24 tax year, no. The level of income has increased to £150k before a tax return is required.
