I have heard I can request an end of year P60 from HMRC for a self employed person through an online form - but cannot find how to do this at all. Is it possible? And if so how, please? Many thanks.

Hi Dani Wozencroft,
A P60 is only available to people employed under PAYE.
If you are self employed it is up to you to retain details of income and expenses to report these on your tax return.
Thank you.

Hi ,

HMRC do not issue P60's, you may be able to request copies from the employer who issued them.

Thank you .

I have a similar issue, I urgently need to get P60's for 2013, 2014 & 2015 but my employer went into liquidation after these dates, so I've hit a brick wall :(

Hi Chris J,
PAYE only hold Pay & Tax information for the last 5 years, but the National Insurance hold details for longer,
please see Request your employment history from National Insurance records
Thank you.
